Venue Showcase : The Manor House, Castle Combe

Based in Chippenham, we are incredibly lucky to have a number of stunning wedding venues on our doorstep. Here at Cakes by Mrs F we are proud to be recommend suppliers for many of these venues. There’s something to be said about working locally, building strong relationships with the venue staff and knowing the venues like the back of our hands. It makes the whole process of delivery and set-up that little bit smoother. And I have to admit, having a short travel time whilst transporting delicate cargo keeps my stress levels to a minimum (my heart is in my mouth with every bump in the road!).

The Manor House, Castle Combe

One of our favourite local venues is The Manor House. The Manor House is based in the picturesque village of Castle Combe, often described as one of the prettiest villages in the UK. It is a luxury 5-star hotel boasting a Michelin-starred restaurant, an adjoining golf course, beautiful Italian gardens and the pretty “By Brook” running along the edge of the lawn. Arriving through private gates with the vista of the house appearing as you drive over the bridge, you could be mistaken for thinking you’ve arrived into a fairytale!
